Important Session Information:

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you attend How to Differentiate (Using Grouping and other Approaches) for Students in the Self-Contained Special Education Setting (Session ID # 50611) on January 16, 2019 for foundational skills needed to implement adapted activities created in this session.

This is a hands-on Make & Take Series to follow-up with Unwrapping the TEKS: Supporting Student Success with STAAR Alternate 2, which will teach you to make adapted materials for use with students with low incidence disabilities in a variety of settings. Emphasis will be placed on age/grade-appropriate materials for all grade-levels.

We will discuss how to provide meaningful instruction as well as adapting grade-level materials, and then participants will have the opportunity to create materials to support their curriculum.  Prepare to return to your classroom with resources to use!

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops if available.

This session will join another session in the Kinney room.
