CTE: Day 2 - Floral Design for the Classroom - The Magic Continues



CTE instruction aims at developing foundational skills, core workplace competencies, and specific skill competencies in various occupational areas. Internships, practicums, cooperative education, school-based enterprises, dual enrollment programs, and apprenticeships are a few venues that deliver CTE by providing meaningful opportunities for leaners to apply their academic and technical skills. We serve the career and education community through targeted support for CTE compliance, program development and implementation with rigor and relevancy; bridging with postsecondary education and industry partners to build a global workforce, quality education programs and 21st century learners.

Important Session Information:


Day 2 - This highly interactive workshop for teachers of Floral Design continues the magic of creation Josh will speak to Floral contest tips and review, propagating plants for classroom use, share instructional materials (bring your ideas to share, too!) and how to effectively plan for a substitute. Time permitting, participants will work with balloons for banquets and events, and again, get review tips on how to prepare your students for the TSFA level 1 and Level 2 certification. Come join our talented guest instructor, Josh Anderson, Agriculture Science instructor and Texas Master Florist, for an exciting and informative day. Registration fee covers all supplies and you take home your creations from the day so come ready to learn!
