ESC-20 provides professional development and technical assistance to support educators with implementation of the Social Studies TEKS, analyze data to enhance instructional practices to meet the needs of students, and provides targeted support to reach campus and district goals.

Important Session Information:


Empower your students to ask questions that will help you assess their prior knowledge and help you target the instruction needed.  Participants will learn by engaging in the process from "Make Just One Change" and walk away with a variety of resources.  Then let's integrate the development of students' thinking with content through the systematic research based approach developed by Harvard University's Project Zero called Visible Thinking. Learn to cultivate students' thinking skills and deepen content.  Let's get students thinking and give them the tools to be successful at it.
