Would you like to provide your students with more opportunities to think, speak and write scientifically? If so, this session is for you! Participants will learn how to use the Claim, Evidence & Reasoning (CER) framework to provide students opportunities to think, talk and write about scientific principles. Participants will walk away with an understanding of how to use CER in writing scientific explanations and with an anchor chart to support the process . This session is appropriate for science teachers of grades 2 - 5.
