G/T 6 hour update: Facilitating the Curiosity of G/T Students through PBL (Randolph Field)

The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:

Have you been struggling with incorporating Project-based learning with your students and immersing them in experiential open-ended problems that can be the focus of your curriculum?  G/T students are required to experience PBL in instruction and will benefit from meaningful challenges.  Come explore how PBL can ignite the fire in your students and how the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) can assist you in accomplishing your goals.

This training can be taken as a G/T 6 hour update if not previously taken.  This training can also take the place of a G/T Day 4 or 5 in the Foundational Trainings.
