Participants will have the opportunity to begin or expand their use of the TI-Nspire handheld and Teacher Software, learning how to collect and analyze data, develop appropriate mathematical models, and use interactive simulations to explore key concepts with students. Throughout the TLC, participants will become better equipped to share their knowledge with other educators and students.
Leadership activities allow participants to develop skills to train peers and mentor colleagues on the effective use of TI-Nspire technology in the classroom. Participants will design their own TI-Nspire lessons and, during the last two days of the TLC, present their lessons to their colleagues for professional critique.
This is a continuation of the Teacher Leader Cadre, Days 4-9. Participants must have completed days 1-3 to enroll in this workshop.
