Critical Incident Response in Schools - San Antonio ISD



Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.


 


Important Session Information:


This session is the first in a series of three organized to help school counselors and other mental health professionals learn skills necessary to respond to school-based critical incidents.  Participants will learn to identify and respond to grief and trauma.  By the end of third session, participants will have created campus/district-based teams organized and prepared to respond to critical incidents at a moment’s notice.
