The 7th Annual Special Education Academy conference is going virtual this year! This conference will focus on strategies to address the instructional needs of students with disabilities as we prepare for the "COVID-19 slide". Each day will feature a keynote speaker followed by two breakout sessions. We welcome the following keynote speakers:
- Justin Porter & Dr. Edward O'Neill from Texas Education Agency (TEA)
- Jonathan Mooney, a dyslexic writer, speaker, and do-gooder who did not learn to read until 12 years old
- Robert Boudwin, the original Houston Rockets mascot, “Clutch the Bear.”
