G/T 6 hour update: Flipping the Classroom: an overview to accelerate Gifted Programming



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Many teachers have heard of flipping the classroom, but what is involved in doing so? Why take the time to do so? Come and learn the theory behind this, along with practical suggestions for using online tools to turn your classroom into a 21st century learning experience! Please bring a laptop and an open mind!

This training can take the place of G/T Day 4 or 5 if not previously taken.
