G/T 6 hour update - Planning for Depth and Complexity in the Classroom



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Be ready to workshop! Bring your laptop, depth the complexity experience or work samples you might have. Leave with lessons planned, hands-on, already-created, differentiated, Standards-based activities and classroom support to make depth and complexity “ the way you do school!”

This session is designed for participants that have already taken G/T Day 4 Depth and Complexity.

Please bring charged technology and any sample activities you would like to enrich with a Depth and Complexity mindset.

This session can take the place of a G/T Day 4 or 5. It can also be a G/T 6 hour update if you have not previously taken this course.
