Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) Module 1: The Challenge of Learning to Read. LETRS is professional development for educators who are responsible for improving K-12 instruction in reading, writing, and spelling. The Challenge of Learning to Read focuses on three theories of reading acquisition and the neurobiology that supports these theories, as well as, an the implications on students with reading difficulties.
**This session has been converted into a LIVE online learning series. Module 1 will be presented over two-days via zoom meetings on June 5, 2020 8:30 am - 12:30 pm & June 8, 2020 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. **
Registration for this session will close on May 14, 2020 to allow adequate time for ESC-20 to ship required materials for each participant.
