Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) Module 2: Phonetics, Phonology, and Phoneme Awareness. LETRS is professional development for educators who are responsible for improving K-12 instruction in reading, writing, and spelling. Module 2 discusses phonological awareness, phonetics, and phoneme awareness. Training on phoneme production, and the role of place and manner of articulation of speech sounds on reading and spelling development.
