ESC 20 provides an alternative route to teacher certification approved by the State Board of Educator Certification.

Developing Powerful Partnerships with Families to Support Student Learning
This session will guide you to understand what family engagement is and is not, what your role as a teacher is in developing partnerships with your families and best practices for communication and relationship building. Strategies for supporting learning at home will be shared along with various community resources and agencies that provide services to students and families.

Human Trafficking

The purpose of this training is to provide an awareness of sex trafficking including how boys and girls are groomed and recruited, victim identification, identifying vulnerable youth, investigation techniques, as well as rescue and prosecution considerations.
