Bilingual Dyslexia Evaluation and the Woodcock-Muñoz Batería IV - Fall 2019



ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for professionals serving student with dyslexia. Students with dyslexia usually experience difficulties with other language skills such as spelling, writing, and pronouncing words.

PREREQUISITE: Participants must attend Dyslexia Identification Series, Part 4 (Score Interpretation) or its equivalent prior to this session.  Please email attendance certificate or registration for this session to carlie.sutton@esc20.net.  

Bilingual dyslexia evaluation is a complex and multifaceted process.  This training is a beginner-level training which will explore the unique needs of dyslexia evaluation and how the Woodcock-Muñoz Batería IV could be used in bilingual dyslexia evaluations.  Participants will receive information about specific subtests which might be used, how to administer them, and discuss interpretation of data gathered in a bilingual dyslexia evaluation. 

Participants must bring their own copies of the assessment manual and materials, as these materials will not be provided.
