Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is at the forefront of current research and a high need in the early childhood classroom. Social stories is a learning tool that supports students with social skills. These stories can be utilized to break down abstract social skills into more concrete steps. This MAKE AND TAKE session will explore how to create and utilize social stories to increase student's awareness of appropriate social behaviors. This session is appropriate for Pre-School General Education and Special Education teachers.
