ESC-20 provides professional development and resources to assist members of an Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee in developing an Individualized Education Program for a student with a disability through the use of facilitation.

Individualized education program (IEP) facilitation is a method of alternative dispute resolution that involves the use of a facilitator to assist an admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) committee in developing an individualized education program for a student with a disability. The facilitator uses facilitation techniques to help the committee members communicate and collaborate effectively. This session will highlight techniques and strategies to effectively build consensus as a committee.
