Important Session Information:
Restorative Discipline Practices, when broadly and consistently implemented, will promote and strengthen positive school culture and enhance pro-social relationships within the school community. This workshop will address the foundations needed for successful implementation of restorative discipline practices (affective language, basic elements of a circle format) to implement with staff and/or students in your school. We will examine the differences between traditional, exclusionary approach versus the restorative approach and review what research is saying.
