Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Planning
ESC-20 provides resources, training and technical assistance for evaluators. Quarterly contact group meetings for LSSP’s and Educational Diagnosticians are also provided.
Important Session Information:
Behavior intervention plans (BIPs) are means for parents, teachers and other educators to work collaboratively to support and instruct a student behaviorally. Function-based intervention plans can be developed as a result of information gathered through a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA). This session will explore the necessary skills for the FBA process and writing the resulting individualized behavior intervention plan.
