Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.


 


Leadership Effectiveness

Important Session Information:


Quarterly Counselor Leader Meetings are designed to offer counselor leaders opportunities throughout the school year to receive information and updates in counseling. Topics include TEA updates, ESC-20 updates, hot topics, district best practices, curriculum updates, social emotional learning, mental health, trauma, and other relevant information. Counselor leaders at the district and campus level are encouraged to attend.
