Trauma Informed Care - Part I



Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.


 


School Climate

Important Session Information:


Designed for classroom staff who work with children who exhibit problematic behaviors.  Participants will learn about the universal needs of belonging, mastery, independence, and generosity and how they can be met in a classroom.  This session will also explore understanding LGBTQ youth experience and the impact of rejection and the crisis of belonging as well as ADHD and trauma and the diagnosis of ADHD and PTSD.
