G/T Day 3 - Curriculum & Instruction for Gifted Students(South San ISD) - Open to All Districts



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Participants will learn strategies for differentiation as applicable to curriculum content. Participants will discuss creative thinking and problem-solving, higher order thinking skills, critical thinking skills, depth and complexity and flexible pacing.

 

It is recommended that you bring charged technology to interact with training documents electronically. Fees: $0 G/T Coop $100 Non-Coop

The session will take place at South San ISD in the Admin and Support Center Building located on 5622 Ray Ellison Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78242

Registration will be exclusive to staff from South San ISD until May 14, 2019. Registration will then be open to all Districts.
