G/T Day 1 - Nature & Needs of G/T Students (San Antonio ISD) - Open to All Districts



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Participants will gain understanding of specialized services for gifted learners who possess certain characteristics and behaviors that require modification of the general education program. Understanding the nature and needs of these students is a critical component of effective program design.

It is recommended that you bring charged technology to interact with training documents electronically. Fees: $0 G/T Coop $100 Non-Coop

The session will take place at Kate Schenck Elementary (101 Kate Schenck Ave,  San Antonio, TX 78223).

Registration will be exclusive to staff from San Antonio ISD until May 14, 2019. Registration will then be open to all Districts.
