Are you interested in starting a school garden or using an
existing garden as part of your curriculum. ESC 20 Food and Nutrition is
excited to host a FREE school gardening expo on September 19th.
Come learn about different types of gardens and from others that have started
gardens and how they incorporate lessons in and from the garden. We have
several great partners that will be sharing their expertise in everything
gardening from local districts, the San Antonio Food Back, Mayors Fitness
Council, Greenspace Alliance, TX Ag Extension, Texas Department of Agriculture,
San Antonio River Authority, National Wildlife Federation, a nutrition education cooking demo by CHEF, and others.
We will also have several vendors on site to share what resources they have
available to get you started.
