Career & Technology Education (CTE)
CANCELED - Rescheduled to March 23rd - Making the Most of Your Career Pathways, Programs of Study (POS) and Endorsements – Strategies for School Districts and Charter Schools
CTE instruction aims at developing foundational skills, core workplace competencies, and specific skill competencies in various occupational areas. Internships, practicums, cooperative education, school-based enterprises, dual enrollment programs, and apprenticeships are a few venues that deliver CTE by providing meaningful opportunities for leaners to apply their academic and technical skills. We serve the career and education community through targeted support for CTE compliance, program development and implementation with rigor and relevancy; bridging with postsecondary education and industry partners to build a global workforce, quality education programs and 21st century learners.

Important Session Information:
Rescheduled to March 23rd - We are five years into solid implementation of the Foundation High School graduation plan. Have you reviewed your plan and your offerings for coherent sequences of courses since the very beginning? Do your offerings and endorsements set your students up for success? Do your pathways and endorsements align with LMI (Labor Market Information) and offer capstone industry certification for students? Are you transitioning to the new Programs of Study (POS)? There is so much to consider when setting your students up for lifelong success. Join us for this interactive workshop where we help you to review your district profile and make adjustments for student success.
NOTE: Bring a fully charged laptop and cord to this workshop and your current master schedule and endorsements with you.
