This session will be a come and go event to assist school districts and charters in preparing 19-20 budgets under new legislation from the 86th Texas Legislative Session. Support areas will include:

Revenue Projections utilizing adjusted templates.

Communication protocols for board meetings to explain changes in student data elements, tax rate compression, new funding implications.

Mandated compensation adjustments for teachers, librarians, nurses, counselors, etc.

Planning support for new legislative mandates.
There will be no formal presentation for this session. We are providing the opportunity for collaboration and support for budget development following the Legislative Session.
