Implementing a School Threat Assessment Program



The ESC-20 School Safety Program provides training and technical assistance to school districts in the comprehensive development of school safety programs.



Important Session Information:


This full-day training will walk attendees through the steps of establishing a two-level threat assessment program in their K-12 program based on the fundamentals and framework of the Salem-Keizer System in Oregon. This model has become a gold standard for threat assessment programming on K-12 campuses. The presenter will cover in detail the core objectives and lessons to help attendees feel prepared to begin establishing or enhance existing threat assessment programs in their respective schools and districts.
