A disciplinary alternative education program (DAEP) established conformance with Texas Education Code (TEC), §37.008, is defined as an educational and self-discipline alternative instructional program, adopted by local policy, for students in elementary through high school grades who are removed from their regular classes for mandatory or discretionary disciplinary reasons.
This is an opportunity to speak with, network with, and problem solve with, other Disciplinary Alternative Education Programs across our region, here at Education Service Center, Region 20. We want to hear from you! What successes/achievements can you share with us? What are the challenges you face on a daily basis?
