At the heart of daring leadership is the realization the courage and fear are not mutually exclusive. Most of us feel brave and afraid at the same time. As leaders of school districts, often times we may have been shown, intentionally or not to lead in a way that places a distinct line between us and our “subordinates”. A rumble is a discussion while at the same time committing to leaning into vulnerability. Brené Brown tells us that we can’t get through rumbling without vulnerability.
During this time together, we will learn four sets of skills:
