Important Session Information:


This 3-day workshop is designed to provide participants with guided practice in teaching methods used to teach verbal behavior to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. This workshop will include both lecture and small group role play of teaching procedures.

Participants will learn to:

Establish instructional control with an unwilling learner (Make learning fun!)

Create teaching opportunities to maintain attention and maximize learning

Practice prompting and error correction procedures 

Organize teaching materials

Record data that guides teaching
