Participants will spend the day examining rigor, and establish a common understanding of rigor by discussing the myths and truths that surround the term. In addition, attendees will gain insight regarding what rigor looks like in the classroom. Participants will explore high expectations, quality questioning, depth of instruction, student support, assessment options, and the classroom environment as each relates to rigor. Educators will leave this workshop with strategies that can be implemented tomorrow to raise the rigor for all students.
