Math Instruction in the Low Incidence Disabilities classroom



ESC-20 provides training, technical assistance, and resources that support programs serving students with low incidence disabilities (severe and profound cognitive disabilities, medically fragile, deaf/blind).

In this session, participants will learn the key components of math instruction for students with intellectual disabilities and/or developmental delays. Strategies and approaches shared will be based on current research on how to teach students within this population. Manipulatives will also be utilized.
