Students who are deaf or hard of hearing typically have delays in language and literacy. There is no time for "down time" when it comes to trying to close these language and literacy gaps. Learn how to make "down time" or "free time" effective for enhancing language and literacy. Activities and strategies will be shared to infuse language and literacy into times such as snack time, center time, and wait times (for the bus, the restroom, etc.).
