This training provides an initial introduction to the requirements of the Student Success Initiative for 5th and 8th grade students. In addition, this session also offers a refresher for campus administrators regarding requirements of parent notification, development of an Accelerated Instruction Plan, the responsibilities of the Grade Placement Committee, and requirements for Special Education, ELL and 504 students.
Participants will walk through a step-by-step explanation of the SSI process beginning with the first administration through the end of the third administration for the reading and math STAAR assessments.
