The ESC-20 provides an alternative route to principal certification approved by the State Board of Educator Certification. 
 


Important Session Information:


As of September 1, 2020, all candidates enrolled in a principal certification program will be required to pass both the TExES Principal as Instructional Leader Exam (268) and the Performance Assessment for School Leaders- PASL (368) in order to be eligible to obtain a standard Principal as Instructional Leader certificate.  In this session, participants will explore the TExES 268 constructed response expectations and take a pre assessment.  In addition, associates will evaluate sample PASL task responses against the PASL rubric to identify key components of an exemplar response.
