Help your students classify ideas and communicate more effectively. Use graphic organizers to structure writing projects, help in problem solving, decision making, studying, planning research and brainstorming. Graphic Organizers may also be allowed on the state assessment in some situations according to specific information listed provided by TEA.
In this session, teachers will explore the benefits of incorporating graphic organizers/supplemental aids in instruction and to promote learning. We will review what is allowed and what is not for STAAR as well as determining need and eligibility criteria. Participants will also customize and personalize free graphic organizer templates for their students using their Google account. Additional resources will be shared.
