Join the Special Education Curriculum and Instruction team for professional networking, resource sharing and collaboration focused on specializing instruction and the provision of special education supports as we navigate virtual teaching. We will share and discuss available resources that can be provided to students in electronic and paper-based formats. We will also allot time at the end of the session for participants to share ideas and for questions/answers.
The VCSS Zoom meetings will not be recorded, however, we will share the resource presentation with all participants.
The primary focus of this session will be adapting lessons and learning activities to best meet the supports identified in student's individual education programs (IEP) documents.
Once registered, you will receive an email containing a the link to the Mathematics focused VCSS Zoom Meeting. These meetings will take place for the duration of the COVID-19 school closure period and the same link will be used for each meeting.
All participants will receive a certificate of completion after the ending of the series.
