Presenter: Julia Eyer, CCC-SLP
Have you seen online teletherapy training focusing on serving small numbers of students with lots of resources and skills unavailable to you? Do you feel uncertain about how to begin your first teletherapy session? Are you wondering how to work as a team to support teletherapy? This workshop will focus on taking teletherapy to our current scenario: working from home with limited equipment, using parents rather than instructional assistants as facilitators, and rapidly adapting in-person therapy skills to the virtual environment. We will talk through your ‘pilot’s checklist’ of essential equipment and skills to establish before your first teletherapy session; ways to improve teletherapy with cooperation between SLPs, SLP Assistants, and SLP Interns; and tips from an experienced SLP but a novice to teletherapy sharing her first attempts and lessons learned.
The same webinar content will be repeated four times. These webinars will not be recorded. Please register for the session that best suits your schedule:
