Interacting with complex texts in Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies classes allows students to meaningfully engage with grade-level standards and beyond. In this session, participants will have the opportunity to explore how strategically sequenced lessons with thematically built text sets can support rigorous instruction and higher order thinking. This session is designed for 3rd through 12th grade teachers of ELAR/SLAR, Science, Social Studies, and G/T Specialists.
This session will be a Zoom session from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM. There will be a product component that will be submitted to complete your 6 hour credit. You will be receiving a Zoom Pre-Registration Link. Please fill out with your District E-mail.
The documents and submissions will be through Google Classroom on the day of the session. It is highly recommended to have your personal Google Account ready in the event that you are not able to join with your District E-mail.
