Creating a website can be quick and easy with Google Sites. Gather a variety of information in one place -- including images, videos, documents, calendars, presentations, text, and more -- and easily share it for viewing or editing with a small group, an entire organization, or the world. Librarians could use the Google Sites platform for a library website, program manual, or as a means to curate and distribute resources for a specific learning purpose like a lesson or activity. Collaboration is easy with Google Sites since it allows for editing by more than one person opening up options for working with teachers with limited time. There’s no limit to the ideas you may have on how to put Google Sites to use at your school.
Note: This session will take place in the form of a webinar. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit.
