Measuring the quality and rigor of student learning objectives is a way to increase student engagement and self-awareness. Student centered portfolios are a best practice that supports this endeavor. In this session, participants will:
- Discuss the structure of portfolios and gain a deeper understanding of the components of a portfolio
- Evaluate the various types of portfolios and select the structure that best meets their needs
- Determine the role students will play in portfolio creation, review, and reflection
- Create rubrics that will guide their evaluation of portfolios
If circumstances dictate, this will be a Zoom session. Participants will be notified the week before the training if it will be a virtual session.
