This course includes advanced fundamentals, logistics, and operations for school-based threat assessment. This course does not meet the Threat Assessment Team requirement for SB11.  Participants will build on their threat assessment knowledge through the following topics:

• Threat Assessment Team scope and mission

• FERPA and information sharing during emergency situations

• Team roles, threat triage, and 24/7 team response

• Effective documentation

• Advanced interview strategies

• Managing the ‘victim’ in the absence of a credible threat

• Proactive approaches to threat management

• Sharing Agreements: resource collaboration across campuses and districts  

Webinar Session Requirements: Participants must join in using a desktop computer, laptop or chromebook.
