ESC-20 provides training and technical support related to inclusive services for students with disabilities to gain access to the general curriculum. These supports provide strategies so students with disabilities are actively involved and progress within the general curriculum and on state assessments.

Important Session Information:


Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) statements and Individual Education Program (IEP) goals are essential for content specialization, individual student support, and progress monitoring. In this 90 Minute virtual session, we will: 

  • Review PLAAFP and Goal Federal and State Requirements, TEA Guidance and Local Policy Discretion 

  • Examine the Components of compliant PLAAFP Statements and IEP Goals 

  • Discuss the implications of COVID-19 distance learning on data collection, documentation and support design

Participants are encouraged to have a sample/draft PLAAFP and IEP Goal that they have previously generated. Student and district confidentiality will be maintained.
