WEBINAR: SLP Practice in the COVID-19 Era: Evaluations and Compensatory Services



ESC-20 provides training, technical support, resources and information about speech therapy for students who have communication disorders.
 


Use of Quality Data to Drive Instruction

Important Session Information:


This course focuses on regulatory guidance and best practice advice for evaluations and compensatory services during the COVID-19 response.  Participants are encouraged to have access to an evaluation report and progress monitoring data to reference during the discussion.

Session learning objectives:  The participants will

1. Describe regulatory guidance and best practice advice for speech and language evaluations during the COVID-19 response,

2. Evaluate samples of FIE summaries and recommendations to the ARD committees, and

3. Discuss sample progress monitoring data and its ramifications for compensatory service conversations.

This program has been submitted for approval of 2.5 clock hours of continuing education credit by the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing-Association (TSHA). TSHA approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.
