ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance to programs serving students who are deaf or hard of hearing, including assisting programs meet the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing across the continuum of placement options.

Important Session Information:


This book study is for Parent Advisors who work with families whose babies are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Deaf/Blind, or Visually Impaired in homes or in early childhood facilities. We will use The Early Childhood Coaching Handbook: Second Edition by Rush and Shelden as our guide for discussions and activities. There will be an orientation meeting on December 3, 2020, and the book study will continue weekly on Thursday afternoons starting January 7, 2021 through February 18, 2021. The fee for this session will include a copy of the book and synchronous, virtual meetings. The expectation is that each participant will read assigned chapters, answer questions, and/or complete activities by each due date as well as attend and participate in all eight 1.5 hour meetings. REGISTER BY NOVEMBER 13, 2020 IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE BOOK BEFORE THE BOOK STUDY STARTS. Registered participants will receive instructions regarding the December 3, 2020 meeting prior to this meeting.
