ESC-20 provides training and resources for special education related services. A related services cooperative is also available to assist in finding related service providers to support students with disabilities.

Use of Quality Data to Drive Instruction

Important Session Information:


This workshop will take place at the Norris Conference Center, 618 Northwest Loop 410 STE 207, San Antonio, TX 78216.  We will focus on everything that Adapted PE encompasses from beginning to end.  We will explore appropriate Adapted PE vocabulary, structure of services, the entire evaluation process from beginning to end, how to write appropriate IEP goals, as well as how to easily modify equipment and activities for student success.

Session Objectives:

1. Explain the process for which a student qualifies for APE including evaluations and the laws and requirements
2. Describe the structure of APE including modifications, accommodations, and specialized equipment
3. Practice creating IEP goals for student who qualify for APE
