Career & Technology Education (CTE)
Webinar: CTE Classroom Management Series: Starting Point!

CTE instruction aims at developing foundational skills, core workplace competencies, and specific skill competencies in various occupational areas. Internships, practicums, cooperative education, school-based enterprises, dual enrollment programs, and apprenticeships are a few venues that deliver CTE by providing meaningful opportunities for leaners to apply their academic and technical skills. We serve the career and education community through targeted support for CTE compliance, program development and implementation with rigor and relevancy; bridging with postsecondary education and industry partners to build a global workforce, quality education programs and 21st century learners.

And Participants will return for 90 minutes of virtual content with mid-day product sharing and feedback.

This workshop is for new and veteran teachers alike. It is no surprise that today's students come to our classrooms with more challenges than ever before. In this session participants will learn practical classroom management skills to help with the behaviors that come with these challenges. You will learn how to develop classroom procedures and routines, thus spending time managing your class, not disciplining your class; and you will become a more effective and efficient teacher. Your student will be more focused and flourish in a safe and consistent environment. Attend this session and walk away with the tools to keep both you and your students motivated to learn. Behavior can be changed. The scientific-based research used in this session is from Randy Sprick, Harry Wong, Barbara Blackburn, Robert Marzano, Marcia Tate, and Willard Daggett and states students learn best when they are focused, engaged and can relate the learning to real-life application thus increasing motivation and academic success
