ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance to programs serving students who are deaf or hard of hearing, including assisting programs meet the unique needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing across the continuum of placement options.

Important Session Information:


Due to the challenges of accessing language from an early age, many students who are deaf or hard of hearing may have gaps in language, communication, and academic areas.  Now with the interruption of traditional instruction in the 2019-2020 school year and starting the 2020-2021 school year in a different way, those gaps may be more pronounced. How do we close the gap from the COVID slide? We will identify key factors in identifying where our students are currently and where we should consider going next.
