This workshop will be conducted virtually by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Prior to the workshop, participants will receive information on how to join the virtual session. The workshop is for individuals who conduct vision and hearing screenings in school settings. Certifications expire every five years and may be renewed through this training. Prerequisites: Prior Vision and Hearing Certification – DSHS will verify current certification for all participants prior to the session. NOTE: Participants who are 15 or more minutes late must reschedule this workshop. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOUR CERTIFICATIONS HAVE EXPIRED. IF YOUR CERTIFICATIONS HAVE EXPIRED, YOU WILL NEED TO RETAKE THE INITIAL VISION AND HEARING CERTIFICATION CLASSES.
