For every action, there is a reaction. During this time of uncertainty, behaviors may come up that you've never see before in the young person standing or sitting in front of you. According to Dr. Geoff Colvin, when a person experiences a behavior, there is a BEGINNING, MIDDLE and END to what he calls the "cycle" of emotions that we all go through. During this session, we will learn and apply Non-violent Crisis Intervention strategies.
This session will take place in the form of a Zoom session. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or
Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various
forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit.
