Adapting Books for Students in Low Incidence Disabilities Classroom Setting All Grade Levels



ESC-20 provides training, technical assistance, and resources that support programs serving students with low incidence disabilities (severe and profound cognitive disabilities, medically fragile, deaf/blind).
 


Important Session Information:


This session will go over the characteristics of a well designed adapted book.  Books will be created based on student's interests, level of support and academic/social/self-help/vocational need. The morning will be spent learning various techniques to adapt books for your students. In the afternoon, you will take time to begin preparing books for your students. Come, learn, create and take home.


This session will be onsite with social distancing protocols
